Use this interactive checklist to determine if your processing of personal data qualifies as a "certain legitimate use" under Section 7 of the DPDPA without requiring explicit consent.

1. Did the Data Principal voluntarily provide their personal data to you?

2. Has the Data Principal indicated that they do not consent to the processing?

3. Is the processing necessary for the State to provide a subsidy, benefit, service, or license?

4. Is the processing necessary for responding to a medical emergency or epidemic?
